Our mission is to enable a socially and ecologically sustainable food system. Why? Because today’s supermarkets are filled with highly standardized products grown by a resource intensive industrial agriculture causing 30% of global green house gas emissions and driving biodiversity loss. On the other hand food from diversified, regenerative agriculture cannot be found on the supermarket shelf. Crowd Container is creating a tailored distribution channel for it. In doing so, we rely on full price transparency and a close relationship between consumers and producers.
We earned the trust of our customers by letting them track where their money is going and what purpose it is serving. By incorporating the principles of steward-ownership this value proposition has been strongly ingrained in our company's core.
